She lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

LIGHTS...CAMERA...PERFECTION!!!

I received my copy about a week ago and find this book so useful for ANY type of photographer! Allison did a phenomenal job with demonstrating various techniques - and shows STEP BY STEP process with tips along the way! Her images were outstanding and the models are PERFECT for exactly what she is portraying! Photographers should definitely purchase this book and professors should use this nationwide as a part of their courses!

It'll confuse amateurs and insult pros

I ordered this (new) book as it was promoted as having something for pro photographers, which unfortunately didn't prove to be the case. Within the first few pages one learns that the cover was an accidental image which for me raised the question--what happened to the shot list. The author also favors AWB. Oh, one of those people who subscribe to the "I'll fix it in post" paradigm. I never got more than a half way through the book as it neither confirmed or enhanced my knowledge. Some of the example poses were downright terrible. The book certainly isn't for pros and in my opinion will to some degree waste time for any aspiring photographer.
